What is speed flying?
Speed wings are very small paragliders that are designed to follow the terrain. By doing this we are able to fly close to the ground and switch from skiing to flying and back again. It also allows us to ski off cliffs.

To learn to speed fly.

Every day from December – April. Courses can only run when snow conditions are good enough to enable us to run a course safely.

WHO CAN LEARN TO SPEED FLY?
Wings vary in size and expert pilots can use extremely small sizes enabling us to exceed a speed of 120km/h. Due to new regulations in Switzerland, you are required to have a paragliding license before you can start this course. All of the accommodation is within a few minutes walk of one another, and hey are only a 2 minute walk from the Verbier cable car and just a 10 minute walk from one of our landing fields in Montagnier.

Our Flying Instructors have been trained and qualified by the FSVL and OFAC as well as the BHPA. The Chief Flying Instructor is also an FSVL Instructor Trainer. Switzerland has the highest standard of teaching & tandem regulations in the World and we are governed by the Federal Civil Aviation Authorities, OFAC. Our tandem pilots are all FSVL qualified, the most stringent Tandem qualification that exists.
